Car Shipping...

Hey guys,
In planning for the move for May 09, I would like to get some of your opinions or prices or options you have seen in shipping our cars. What are some of the cheaper ones what are some of the better ones. What should i look for to save money. Mainly looking to ship as cheap as possible from CA to MN, likely depot to depot.
Lemme know, Thanks
Tom

I've sent a bunch out to Kalifornia, I was paying about $750/car for the top shelf of an open carrier. Bottom is usually $50-100 less. Being that I was shipping when diesel was higher and the economy sucks, I'd think you could do better than that nowadays.

^that doesn't seem bad at all especially with gas prices figured in.

What company do you use? That sounds like a good deal, Project2g shipped his car and i think spent 600-650 just to get to CO.

I would drive my car as well if i thought it could make it. When i moved here i basically packed the car with as much stuff that could fit, (surprizingly a lot can fit) and drove the auto GSX down here, but that car was not nearly as modified and had less of an atitude.

Seriously? Get it running decent and leak free, and don't put your foot into it on the trip here. Is it really that unreliable?

Also no AC. Its not that its really unreliable, its that i just to want to get stuck somewhere overheating or some shit like, plus the lack of drivers that will be coming along, i would rather just drive the reliable honduh that my fiance has.
