2g mas vs HKS Super MegaHigh Flow intake
 

I just found a 609 mas off a 95 Diamante for a great price. Right now, I'm wondering if the 609 mas will flow better than the hks highflow I got right now. I can't get/find the specs from the hks intake, though i know the 2g mas has greater flow than my stock gvr4 mas. Also, what do you guys think about this item?

so, basically, i just need to know if going from the HKS to the 609 mas is better. i also realize how the 609 mas will effect the engine ;)

yah cookie for me! wow...i way wrote it wrong.....hahah!! anyways, yeah, i got it, but after the turkey, i will install it. its the HKS highflow intake that i got, but im sure that the 2g mas will be far better.

so, I'm basically going to be getting a 2g intake and getting a smaller battery and mounting it where the intake filter is located. I was looking at the Odyssey batteries, though if you guys know better small batteries, let me know. thanks!

That filter is enormous. Like way too big. I'm sure you can find a way to make it work though.

HKS filters have been proven to suck. I'm still confused why you're comparing a 1G filter with a 2G MAS.

Get this air filter kit for the 2G MAS; cheap and effective:

Uh, yeah. Your HKS filter setup still uses a 1g mas. And hopefully you do know that a 2g mas reads differently, so you can't just hook it up and expect it to work properly.

well, as of right now, i'm just concerned about where to put the battery. i dont want to put it in the trunk. does anyone know a good brand of battery that is small? possible 5x5x5 or around that range? thanks!

Get the Walmart Extreme battery that is like 550CCA, it is made for a lawn mower, but it works much better than an odyssey.

Yep, had one in my car for 3 years after my Odyssey lasted maybe 6 months.

I ran lawn mower batteries for 3 years. Worked fine, just that I had to get a new one every year. I just recently switched to an Odyssey though to see if it'll work better.
