The TSi is going under again.

Today I finished the car up and on my way back to the house I grenaded my new tranny. So now I will either have to fork out a shitload of money and use performance parts or sell it as it sits.
Not much to see as far as damage besides a puddle of black fluid on the ground.
Overall it was a pretty successful day being that I broke all four tires loose at about 40.http://v4.fivezeroseven.com/images/s...happydance.gif

Eagle Rods, 16psi, Clevite race series main and rod bearings. Runs real well.

I just realized I could have snapped a CV joint. That would be f**king sweet!

seriously? This tells us nothing about your set-up other than the bottom end.

What are you running for fuel/turbo/cams/engine management etc.

and where is this "black" fluid located exactly, if your car were to sit awhile and drip it out.

You were breaking the tires loose at 40 mph on 16psi? Was that when there was snow down there the other day? Or are you running around on 4 donuts? Maybe it was on a gravel road?

Worst project thread ever. Seriously people if you want to post bullshit, post it in the parking lot. Moved.

I had oil on the tires. And yes I just popped a CV. I am so relieved.

So you purposely put oil on your tires so you can spin all 4?

Fail.

wow, you guys need to stop bashing him, unbelievable.

so none of you has put some kind of liquid on a tire to do a burnout in a hoop-d?

bullshit!

amazing that everyone would crusify him for having a little bit of fun!

Re: The TSi is going under again.

^No I haven't, I have lost traction in 2nd before, maybe third.

But loss of traction doesn't impress me, if I want to do a burnout I drop the clutch in the corolla.

Re: The TSi is going under again.

It wasn't even intentional.
I haven't had first gear in this car for a long time and I didn't think it would do that.
