Re: Galant w/ Evo VIII MR drivetrain
Haha... If I haven't seen this? Bah... I know all about Galants ;)
This guy is one of the founding members of TheGalantCenter.net. His screenname is Cali. As far as all we all know, he was the first to swap a 4G63 into a Galant. He was TheGalantCenter's car of the year for 2007. He put a TON of time and money into this car, and won multiple awards at car shows. He was the first person to import that front end - the Dolphin Aeroform bumper and Liberal grill. About $2000 just for those two pieces from a company in Japan. He's been in a few magazines, including ModifiedMag. Anyhoo... I know way too much about this car. His determination to make the Galant a part of the tuning community is to be applauded. He reached out to companies to make parts (which they did), one of the first to complete a JDM front conversion (like I've done), and alot of other stuff. His last dyno that I remember he was putting down 320whp/340tq. Sadly, he doesn't own the car anymore. He sold it a few months ago for just over 15k (I believe). Who ever posted those photos might be the new owner. So... now do you guys see why I mod my Galant? They can turn out pretty decent! ;) http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...g63T/noel2.jpghttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...g63T/noel1.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...odshootsig.jpg Yeah, his roof is CF... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...Picture624.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...T/IMG_0267.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...alant/hin1.jpg |
