Any Halo fans out there?
 

Well since me and my friend moved to IL where there is not a soul of a thing to do we decided to purchase an xbox 360. I had originally been playing halo 2 on regular xbox for quite some time but it was time for an upgrade. I've had the game for about 3 months now and it's been alot better than halo2 since you can't cheat. But anyway since I've always been into video editing and making videos so I decided to make a couple montage's. Yes, I'm pretty lame but I enjoy it. My first video was my first one and first time really using windows movie maker. The second one I decided to mess around with a lot of editing features and whatnot to see what I could come up with. Jesus man.. 7 1/2 minutes?! I was only able to watch a quarter of it. But there was some nice kills in it.

I use to really be into Halo 2. Then I was with halo 3 whenever I could get to my brother's because I don't have and HD TV.

Where in Illinois did you move to? I love Chicago, shit's ALWAYS open there. Never ending fun!

Haha when I first started the game I dominated so yeah 7 1/2 mins was needed. Were in Glendale Heights 40 mins west of Chicago. But were also only 19 so still, there's not much to do.

Oh yeah? I've been going to Schaumburg since I was seventeen. I go every summer for a week or weekend.

Best way to spend a boring day/night down there.

1) Go to Woodfield Mall or Streets Of Woodfield (pick up chicks if you don't have one lol)

2) If it's on a week day, go downtown to Michigan Ave. You'll find something to do just walking around. Plenty of stores and places to eat.

3) Topo Gigio, enough said.

4) Navy Pier is freakin awesome!

5) Second City is the best comedy hall I've been to so far. For some reason my dad always finds an old lady from Minneosta also hahaha.
5a) There's also a candy store three blocks south of Second City that's open til Midnight every night, really freakin good and cheap too.

6) Grant Park

7) The Water Tower (another mall)

8) Cruise on Lake Michigan. They do little 1 1/2 hour boat rides and serve you lunch. Maybe dinner?

9) If you only have a few dollars and a full tank of gas... HIT THE TOLL WAYS!! I love the toll ways there (yes I'm crazy). I launch and do pulls out of there. You can go up to whatever you want since cops are never there and everyone does 90 on the freeways anyway.

Oh and I'm not sure if you know this or not yet. But Streets of Woodfield is the big car hangout around there.

Well considering I don't have the talon down here the toll ways are gay. haha But yea I'll have to try some of those out, but right now my main consern is finding a job!

halo is teh ghey.

some friends and i are were huge into halo 2, and 3.

in fact we went to tournaments in chicago, canada, etc. we placed high but all in all not worth it.

pick up COD4, youll love it.

I lived in IL for like 12-13 years before I came to MN. IL was sweet!

I haven't played Halo 3 for awhile, I've been sucked into COD4, which I haven't played for awhile.


CarbideDSM is my tag! Too bad my Elite just got some nice flashing red lights, my Xbox is currently in the mail to get fixed! GOOD CHOICE ON THE 360 :)

meh, id rather have to send off my console for a week once every 4 years then have to wait 4 hours for every game i baught to install. lol.

I love my xbox, in case you couldn't tell. I'm just not a fan of the ps3 as a gaming console.

ps3 is good for movies, but thats about it. especially since PSN sucks.

I don't want to be mean or sound mean but please try not to put music in game play or bad music through the entire thing. I would have watched it if it did not have that music playing. I would like to say 90% or so of the people I know and hang out with that watch videos others make either get made fun of or ridiculed for putting music like that in something we would watch if it didn't have it embedded.

Are you on crack? There is not one Halo montage video where there isn't music. Everyone has their own taste in music. Even the halo pro's have music in there montage's. The videos would be GAY without it.. Not sure what kind of videos you're watching. I know I may recieve some criticism but that's just like telling someone not to let their car idle when taking a video of thier cams..
