How do I seperate the passanger side axle from the trany is there a clip inbetwen?

It is a bitch but you just have to use a heavy duty pry bar and pop it out of the tranny. There is a clip on the end of the axle inside of the tranny that slips into a groove and you have to pop it past the groove.

I always just pulled it out with my hand.. Be sure to grab it BEFORE the knuckle.

Yeah, many get stuck. Just put a good sized pry bar in the bottom between the tranny and very inner part of the CV.

thanks guys for the help I ended up taking out the battery tray and doing from the top

Yea popping axles out sucks. Makes me wish i had one of those sweet slide-hammer deals.
