Brent Rau Needs Local Help
 

#1 His Toughbook laptop with his Motec software and tunes took a shit. So that needs to be fixed or atleast the tunes pulled off of the harddrive.

#2 He has some video on a Sony Digital Video Camera that he needs to send to someone for an interview or something. He can't get it to work right. The video files are giving errors, when they try to view them.

So, if there are any computer guys on here who can help him with these problems, send him an email brent@osofastracing.com

If the laptop HD isn't totally shot and it's a normal style older laptop HD, I have an adapter to plug it into a desktop computer, since we seem to have a laptop HD failure or two here every year.

And his tunes will benefit who? Unless your car runs on methanol and makes 1100whp, his tunes won't be of much use to anyone.

HAHA... When I first read this I thought Shane meant music/tunes since he was talking about videos too. I was thinking you must have had some good music to really want to get it off the computer that bad.

In all seriousness I have a friend who has tools/software/training to recover data from physically damaged hard drives if you need it. It wouldn't be free but it would be much cheaper than Kroll OnTrack.

Hopefully your drive was fine.
