Does anyone know where to get the tiny lights that go inside the rear defroster button? Also, does anyone know the Mitsu part # if the dealer is the only place to get them? Thanks

Your best bet would be to get the whole center air outlet assembly from a junkard, which is the whole button/vent cluster. I doubt you could get anything smaller than that cluster if you went to the dealer. If anybody knows otherwise, feel free to correct me.

tried an automotive store?

I doubt an automotive store would have it because it looks like it is a LED with a rubbery orange cover on it. The LED seems to be soldered to a black plastic base that twists into the circut board. They seem very similar to how the light bulbs in the gauge cluster look and work, but smaller.

The dealer wont sell just the bulb... you can go to radioshack and look around, they might have something, just make sure its the right voltage and size... Or just go to the junkyard but then you dont know if it works or not...

Yeah, I was thinking junk yard but the problem with that, as EclipseTurbo said, you don't know if it works or not. I think I am going to call the dealer tomorrow and see how much they cost. How much can a light bulb cost anyway ;)
