Anyone Work at a Machine Shop? I need a job!

I'm looking for an entry level CNC Machninist or Mold maker position. I've had three job offers and turned them down for various reasons, right now I'm kinda wishing I hadn't. I've been looking online and most places are just the BS staffing companys. Anyone know of a place that could use some more help?

I have a resume and reference list available.

Check out RMS in Coon Rapids, they are right by Northtown. They work through temp agencies, but will accept resumes also. I used to work at Donatelle Precision in New Brighton also, not a bad place, but not great. The boss when I was there was an ass, but I am sure he is gone by now.

Hahah, I just filled out the online ap. for rms, and Donatelle is less than 10 minutes away from my house. I haven't applied there yet, though.

It is hard to get a job at most entry level positions. I would talk to a staffing company to try and get you some experience. You may make a little less in the short term but you have several agents trying to sell you to companies who are hiring. I haven't dealt with them personally but know of friends who had an problems finding a job and found one through an agent.

Good Luck.
