98 GSX ecu in a 95 talon awd???

How can I make this work??? I want to swap out the ecu so that I can use dsm link and my gf doesn't need it :D

So far I know that I have to swap like 2 spark plug wires but what else is there and if that is it then which 2 wires do I swap?? thanks

You swap plug wires 1-4 and 2-3 and you can also swap the injector wires on the harness that plugs into the ecu for better idl and overall running.

Can you specify for the injector wires please... what do you mean exactly??

You don't have to swap the injector wires, if you get DSMLink. You can just pick "Invert CAS" in DSMLink. You still need to swap the spark plug wires around though.

But what he wants to do is steal his girlfriends Eprom ECU and replace it with his.
Do what Kerry said and you should be fine.

You just swap 1&2 and 3&4, just like the plug wires. The injector wiring should be long enough if you just turn each injector slightly, that's how I did mine.

Can't you also swap the wires on the ECU?

So what your saying is I have to do more then just swapping the plug and injector wires??? Or is that something different??

Re: 98 GSX ecu in a 95 talon awd???

No you swap the plug wires 1 and 4 with wires 2 and 3. Then just do the injector wire swap on the harness that plugs in right at the ECU.
