I miss my Iroc-z (I didn't have a mullet)
Driving with my sunroof open on the Talon is nice but hot summer days really make me miss having the T's off on my Iroc.
The car really handled great and it was fun on the open lap road racing I did with AARF back in the day. Too bad I sold this. It was a great cruiser. I'm still glad I went from an F-body to a DSM though. Here's a couple pics. http://www.readjohncarson.com/Images/Talon/iroc.jpg T's off! http://www.readjohncarson.com/Images/Talon/88irocz5.jpg |

Re: I miss my Iroc-z (I didn't have a mullet)
305 TPI! It had good mid power which is what the "tuned" part of TPI was set for. The floor boards were rotted though so a motor swap wasn't worth fixing with all the hidden rust.

I use to have one also. picked it up for 600.00 (years ago back in HS) put tires on it drove it till I was in a 13 car pile up and got a ton more cash than I payed for it and I keeped the tranny and engine out of it and sold that.

Here's a couple more I dug up. They were pretty rare I guess. Always got some weird looks.

Clean looking car. I'm still baffled why its right hand drive??
There were a ton of this generation F-bodies at Car Craft last weekend. Very popular. later, Curt |

Re: I miss my Iroc-z (I didn't have a mullet)
it was a iced over brige on 169. I saw it and stop before the pile up and the guy behind me did not even slow down. he hit me at 60 when I was stoped and slamed me into the pack of cars then got nailed in the pass door after that and was shoved into the bearier.

Re: I miss my Iroc-z (I didn't have a mullet)
How the fuck do you get a RHD Camaro? You photoshop that or what? The Iroc Z isn't mirrored, so what the FECK!?
I call 22 minutes of photoshop. |
Re: I miss my Iroc-z (I didn't have a mullet)
I never knew too much about the owner before me. My brother in law bought if from a dealer in Rochester and I took over payments on it. You could tell the side skirts and bumpers had been swapped and the black was painted poorly if you looked close at it.

Re: I miss my Iroc-z (I didn't have a mullet)
My brother still has his i roc but damn a RHD thats got to be worth a pretty penny

Re: I miss my Iroc-z (I didn't have a mullet)
I sold it for $2800 and bought it for $3500 around 5 years ago.

Re: I miss my Iroc-z (I didn't have a mullet)
Scrmegl, answer the question! Was it actually right-hand drive? or are the pics just inverted....
*edit* I see the lettering on the IROC is the right way....how the F did you get that here? |
Re: I miss my Iroc-z (I didn't have a mullet)
Chevy probably would not produce a RHD car. all the countrys I have been to and you see a ford they are all LHD. Maybe they did tho, IDK

Re: I miss my Iroc-z (I didn't have a mullet)
HAHAHAHAA! RHD Camaro FTW. European, maybe Australian?
