Anyone got this gauge? That would be more of a just fun gauge, prolly wouldnt base any tuning off of it, but still pretty cool.

Its not really rice, It give you the ability to say "Hey, there is something on my car that is moving at a rate of 120,000 RPMs." LOL

They're pretty functional actually, if you are running a turbo at its limit and know what it's threshold is for safe rpms, these are way worth it. Spinning a FP green up to 165,000 rpms is fine, but if you get a massive boost leak and start hitting 180,000 rpms, the bearings in the turbo are gonna be sad!

One of the cars with the new fp red has one:

Their previous turbo was almost destroyed from over-revving.

LOL you could say that anyways! Well, I can. Not sure how fast a bigger 61mm+ turbo spins at on street speed conditions.

The bigger the turbo "normally" the slower the shaft speed. This gauge would not help a Ko3 car much but most street turbo setups running race gas or E-85 could use this to help with tuning/finding the limit. I think I would set it up as a tuning tool then remove for piece of mind.
