Ok so im going home from QPR at like 3:30am and was shocked to see that the BP station on Lexington was ABSOLUTLY Packed, there were people inline to get to the pumps, cars waiting in the street to get in the driveway, the lot was basically filled. It wasnt racers or anything it was just normal cars. anybody have a clue what was goin on. I would understand this kind of activity had it been nice out, or if the gas prices were low but the sign said $1.75 for regular.

Enes 03-07-2004 01:58 PM

the gas prices are going to go over $2 shortly

At-Least-It's-An-Evo 03-07-2004 02:01 PM

Time to just start running one of the lesser expensive race gases daily. :)

Yum-yum, 100 octane unleaded here I come.

Hell if I'd be up at 3:30am to save $3.50 on a tank of gas.

You can get 100 octane low lead for around 2.50 a gallon at Fleming Field Airport in South St. Paul. At least that was what it cost last fall.

carltalon 03-08-2004 11:33 PM

we need to convert our cars to run on E-85 100 octane and cheap as shit

Halon 03-09-2004 08:47 AM

its at like 1.90 here, but when we were in san diego it was like 2.20

Last time I got a pay raise here at work. Gas was only .89 cents. If I didn't have the house payment I would have left years ago.

You can feel free to use leaded fuel...but if you run it on a daily basis be prepared to buy new o2 sensors fairly often.
