I watched the clip (sorry, don't have the link). They bashed the Subaru, praised the evo, then ran them around the track. The Subaru won. It may be ugly as sin and understeer like a civic, but it was actually faster around the track.

That was frickin awesome! haha for Subaru. How was it faster though? Everything else in the segment made it look terrible on the track in comparison to the Evo. Well they did use the lower powered version "to be fair".

The EVO version they used in the first video for the EVO vs STI was an FQ model I believe. He said it had 360hp compared to 300 for the regular model. So basically it made it a somewhat unfair comparison.

The stig may have gotten a better time, but im gonna guess 99% of people would get a faster time out of the evo.

A good friend bought a new STI.. I love that car, it's freakin awesome. I wouldn't want a car that is more firm(in stock form), Subaru got it right if you ask me.
