Fuel Pressure Regulator

I need a FPR for my 1g dsm. Let me know what you got, and what you want for it.

Just a stock one? I think I have a stock 1G one laying around here.

What are the options for FPR's on dsm's? I was bidding on one of those SX/Buschur fpr's on ebay, but it's gonna go high I'm betting. Does anyone just use an Aeromotive A1000-6 or whatever and mate it somehow to the stock lines and rail?

I think I'll go this route for now. I have a A1000-6 that I have for the other car.. I'll just use it on the gsx for now and get another when I have time to finish the other car.

That's the one I have. Uses push-lock hose which helps keep the cost down a little bit by not using the braided bling hose.

Pushlock hose is the way to go, imo. You dont get the fuel vapor like you do from braided and it is much easier to work with.

I have this one, it's nice because it bolts right to a 1g rail:

EDIT: I picked mine up used with a 255 pump for $125 I think, you can find them much cheaper than at buscher.

Re: Fuel Pressure Regulator

OK, well what I need is the fitting that bolts to the stock 1g fuel rail, then any/all fittings that go from there to the regulator, then a fitting to connect to the stock return line. So if I were to go the push-lock route, I need to figure out what I need and where to buy the stuff individually.

I already have:
Aeromotive A1000-6 FPR
Bosch 044
PTE 1200's will be ordered next week.

Re: Fuel Pressure Regulator

So I can get push lock hose from a vendor, and I haven't looked around, who makes those fittings?

Why don't you get 1600's and call it good for whatever it makes?!?!? ;)

I want the 1200's for the smaller/shorter pulse width. I can try to tune part throttle for some gas mileage. And I should be able to make good power with the 1200's I think. Matt Dean made like 460 something awhp with close to the same setup but the walbro ran out and the injectors still had room left. I'm hoping for 500+awhp?(maybe on E98)
