No mas signal with GM Translator
 

I just put in a gm maf-t into my 97 6 bolt spyder and it kept running funnny and threw a 0100 code so I checked with a log and there is no maf reading. I cant figure it out. Any ideas here? I checked the plugs. Any way to ohm or volt test this. The lights come on for a sec and then go off like they are supposed to on the translator on startup and I have it zero'd out.

Could be a few things:
-moisture in the maf-t box
-bad MAF
-improperly wired maf-t

Not sure how to test the maf except find a different one and see if it helps. On the maf-t, since you just installed it I'm guessing there's no moisture...is this a brand new unit, or a used one? Did you hook up the white rpm signal wire?

if the box is working right it would be the gm mas. I have a extra one here that works great if you want to try it

I tryed the mas off of my moms bad azz lumina and it worked so it looks like ill be going to the junk yard unless someone has an extra 1 that they will sell for $10
