C6 Z06 With CCW Drag Pack Wheels
Sorry, the car was filthy, but that's what happens when you drive them suckers.
:D The new 335/35/17 Hoosier Drag Radials fit great on the rear 17x11 wheels. Up front it has 18x5's with Mickey Thompson Sportsman SR's 26x6's. The 18" wheel is the smallest wheel that will clear the 14" rotors and 6 piston calipers. They even drive smooth and seem to hook pretty decent, even though I haven't done a burnout or lowered the pressure yet. Today I ordered a 3.90 ring and pinion for a regular C6 rearend. I'm going to buy another rearend and modify it to bolt to my Z06 transmission. The car should fucking RIP with gears. I can't wait. Oh yeah, a box with two LS7 heads got shipped out today... Something about CNC porting and 400cfms... http://i92.photobucket.com/albums/l2...7Camaro005.jpg http://i92.photobucket.com/albums/l2...7Camaro007.jpg http://i92.photobucket.com/albums/l2...7Camaro009.jpg And just some random import in a parking lot.... Just kidding, it's my friend's Supra that I posted the video of getting spanked by my Z06 when I first bought it. :D http://i92.photobucket.com/albums/l2...7Camaro016.jpg |

Re: C6 Z06 With CCW Drag Pack Wheels
You have to remember the cost of living is lower down there as well. My parents bought a brand new house in south Texas for $110k in a nice neighborhood. It'd be $275k in a cheap Minneapolis suburb. That's gotta help some, but Outlaw is a baller none the less. I need to step up my game.

Oh yeah, the other LS7 is going into my '67 Camaro project car. It's a car that I've owned since I was 16 and right now it's a total basket case. I'm planning on making it a Mini-Me for my Z06, except it's going to be fast. The LS7 and PowerGlide are mocked up and it's also getting ladder bars, coilovers, relocated frame rails, C6 Z06 brakes for the street and "small" disk brakes for the track. Once I have some fun with it at the track I'm going to swap my T-56 into the car and make it a little more streetable. Oh yeah, it should weigh well under 2,800lbs with me in the car. :) Here's some pictures of my shop from last weekend. http://i92.photobucket.com/albums/l2...7Camaro008.jpg http://i92.photobucket.com/albums/l2...7Camaro009.jpg http://i92.photobucket.com/albums/l2...7Camaro011.jpg Quote:
