Help with DSMlink?
 

I was wondering if it's possible to use a 9 pin seriel to usb adapter for my 1g dsmlink. and if not... could someone locally help me tune my car with their laptop? i'm trying to get the car on the road and would prefer not to buy a cheap laptop just quite yet... thanks guys. i'm located in new brighton.

yea the cord ive got hooks up to the link cable and goes to a 9 pin. you can get a 9 pin to usb adapter. look on keyspan.com

I had an adapter and it worked alright, I ended up getting an older laptop with a serial port instead. They're pretty cheap on Craigslist.

yeah i picked up this laptop on ebay for 250 its sweet battery used to last up to 4 hours.

i got my laptop from computer renaissance, $225 and it has the 9 pin.
