Just figured I'd share my little funny with everyone, i guess at my dads place I was parking in the guest lot and i didn't realize that it was only for visitors, so I got mailed a complaint about it being parked there, and on the slip it read "vehicles in obstuction: black subaru impreza(my girlfriends), and a dodge viper(apparently my 91 tsi). :) i just found it kinda funny, what i think happened was my viper alarm system sticker on my window said viper so some dumb dumb thought it was a 100000 dollar car

so my dsm is now called a viper, with a rice can !

Nice! A more compact viper! My TSi was called a saturn once.

Nice haha. Yeah i had a hard time around here trying to convince people my evo wasnt just a subaru with a body kit hah.

LOL! Not remotely close to the same IMHO, goddamn people are dumb.

^I just turned around and walked away disgusted. 5 minutes later my buddy ran into the bumper with his 50. 10 minutes after that my other buddy backed into me with his mistique.

That was all on the first day owning the car. Agh!

haha, I've had people ask before and some slightly smarter ones go "is that like an AMC?".

Ok, So back at my old job, I parked my car in the handicap spot (unknowing) and went in to work... a few hours later, an officer came in wanting to know whos viper was parked in the handicap parking spot without a permit...

(This is when my car was red, with a bomex bodykit, and all decked out with superman shit... I also had the viper security system sticker on my side windows)

I was like, "holy shit, who drives a viper in this town?" so I walked to the door to see the "viper" I then realized it was my DSM and told the cop it was my car... I apoligized and told him I would move it right away... well, the fucker started to write me a ticket... then pauses and stares at my car, confused as fuck.... then he stops, looks at me and says, "Sorry, I thought this thing was a Viper.... I didn't realize it was a superman..."

And yes, that is what it said on my ticket under the "vehicle model" catigory...

I've had my 1Gb Talon called an Integra before. At least call it a Viper if they're gonna get it wrong. It'll make me feel better :)

I have no emblems on my car. Security wrote up a ticket for my, "RED FORD MUSTANG". HAHAHA

I can see why someone would think a 1g would be a saturn. Some of the older saturns do look really similar to 1gs.
