dsmlink help - connection problems
 

Seeing if anyone would swing by tomorrow afternoon/whenever so that i can rule out that my laptop and/or cable is bad.

Are you using a serial to usb adaptor or does your lappy have a serial port?

sorry, it has a serial port, i checked the com settings and they are both the same on link and the computer settings.

This just started randomly.

I've got another seriel port cable too i could sell ya if thats the problem

im having the same problem its just saying "java.io command timed out" ... so when u figure it out post it please im going on about 2 weeks of trail and error and lots of trouble shooting to no avail.. thanx

I figured it out. I had to update my software, the link guys recreated another version to fix some of the problems i was having.

Glad you got it worked out man. I would have let you use mine but it's all in the Talon at the shop.
