Please help, leaking coolant

Alright, well yesterday I took the day to fix up all the little things on the car I bought. Replaced boost gauge, got a broken exhaust mani stud out, replaced mani gaskets and turbo gasket, and then replaced some of the coolant lines that were possibly leaking (I had been leaking coolant slightly over the last couple days). Got the engine all buttoned up after about 14 hours of working on the car, running to the store, getting crap, etc. and go to fill up coolant again. See it leaking out of the bottom so I'm a little pissed. Find where it is leaking from behind the power steering pump on the coolant pipe, but I have no idea how you are suppose to fix something like this:

Has anyone ever dealt with the same thing? I am about to the point to have it towed to a shop and having them deal with it. Thanks for any help.

The pipe fits into the outlet of the water pump where it's leaking. There is an o-ring that fits in them. Mitsu should have it. You'll have to remove the water pipe, or at least be able to pull it a couple inches toward the passenger side so you can put the new o-ring on. probably have to pull the turbo coolant lines.

While we are on the topic of coolant...Is there a specific coolant people use?

Good luck getting it all buttoned up mike, it should be a blast when everything is said and done. i know youve allready put alot of time into it, so i hope you can catch a break pretty soon here. Were you able to test spool up with the new gaskets?

Replace the O-ring on the water pipe, and you should be golden.

Turbo is just oil-cooled so shouldn't have to worry about that. I am kinda hoping I don't have to pull the manifold and turbo back off to fix this, but if I have to, I have to.

Nope, not yet. Got everything put back together and go to refill the coolant I spilt and it started to drip there. Jungy may come and visit tomorow to help out and hang out.

Thanks for the help guys, going to start on it first thing in the morning.

Also while you're in there, that coolant pipe should have a spot for a bolt to hold it against the block, right under the exh manifold. Make sure that bolt is in there holding that pipe in place so you can be sure it doesn't pop out.

Yep, got that in there. Made sure to apply some pressure on the pipe and then secure the bolt to get a nice seal.
