1997 mitsubishi eclipse spyder turbo fwd 5spd convertable with black top and grey leather interior. 111kk miles. Everything is stock.

Cons:
1st gear pops out of gear 50% of the time. (shift linkage)
Drivers side skirt is crack.
Rotors need to be turned.
Need new rear brake pads.
Rust forming under hood and some on the rear.
Paint chip on bumpers.

Pro:
All maintance files are kept.
New clutch 2000 miles ago.
New battery 2000 miles ago.
Brand new snow tires.

Don't have time to fix. Come and test drive. $2,000. NO TRADES

With the built tranny it would get the 4k for sure but im going to stick to my GSX....

bump. i think its a shift linkage problem not a syncro problem since I am able to drive it now if I gear brake in 3rd than drop it in 1st with the clutch in before the car fully stops. only pops out if you shift to 1st from neutral on a dead stop

I had that same prob. in my eclipse and it ended up being 1, 2, 3, 5 were all bad and they all seemed fine to me but when they took it apart it was all bad!

Bump. Fixed wiper. It was a switch problem. Im thinking about keeping the car now if not sold by the weekend.
