Car drives weird after fixing boost leak

Alright so over the winter I fixed a boost leak where the j-pipe mounts onto the turbo. I did a boost leak test and there was still a very small leak in the seam, so yesterday I re-enforced it with a little rtv. Also, I don't know if this is relevant as well, but yesterday I changed the valve cover gasket and all related seals. So I waited for everything to dry and today I took the car out for a drive and the car feels significantly slower when boosting, than before I added the rtv to the leak area and changed the valve cover gasket. Would fixing a leak that small screw up my tune that significantly? Or could I have done something wrong when changing my valve cover gasket? My current mods are: 14b boosting @ 15psi, evo 8 fmic, 560 injectors, safc. Car is a 97 GSX

I can't think of anything. Are you sure you're hitting 15psi still? Swap the plug wires around accidentally?

I would redo the boost leak test. I have fixed boost leaks before only to have another one appear from the change in pressures.

yup, still hitting 15psi, and I remembered to mark my wires before I removed them, so that's all good.

You may be right, it kinda feels like another leak, I'll have to get it tested.
