Converting a NT throttle body?
what do you all need to do to a nt tb to run it on a tuebo car? Any part numbers for seals?
|
Re: Converting a NT throttle body?
just bolt it on they are the same as a turbo one but with the lip on it. Or if you want to find a evo III t.b. they are bigger than a 1g.

Re: Converting a NT throttle body?
Keep in mind you will have to modify your intercooler piping once its on there! No elbow coming off of the TB.

Re: Converting a NT throttle body?
Does the evo III have the lip or not?
|
Re: Converting a NT throttle body?
that they do. they also use 2g sensors

Re: Converting a NT throttle body?
Oh, nice. Is there a good spot to find these?

Re: Converting a NT throttle body?
just look on ebay they are on there some time but sell for alot

Re: Converting a NT throttle body?
oh ok easy enough I thought that I herd that you had to do different seals for some reason, never mind. does anyone have an idea of the degree of the angle from the tb to next to the radiator where a short route intercooler goes on a 2g? it doesn't look like my 45 degree coupler I ordered will work.

Re: Converting a NT throttle body?
what are you looking to gain from using a nt tb? is there some performance increase?
|
Re: Converting a NT throttle body?
My motive for doing it was just eliminating one more flange that could potentially be a boost leak. I prefer the coupler connection.
Like Schiedes said, slight modifications will have to be done to your UICP. |

Re: Converting a NT throttle body?
I have a straight streached 2.5 cuppler over my evo III t.b. and right into a 90 2.5 pipe
