2 completely different dynos and drivetrain setups. I'm also guessing Rau's car wasnt 100% on the dyno like it is on the track. Although I'm not 100% positive on that, maybe it was, I know it doesnt take much to propel a light car down the track that fast.

1000hp on a DD and 1000hp on a DJ is a bit of a difference I'd say. Either way, it'll be cool to see how it does this year on the track.

He said he made well over 1030HP after running the rollers at DB but he didn't say how much. He was having ignition problems with his setup while he dynoed at DB. Maybe Shane knows?

I ran into Rau a little over a month ago. He mentioned he is going to compete in an 1/8th mile racing league this year, I believe its ADRL.

Yeah thats what I figured. I thought I remember Shane saying something along those lines but couldnt remember exactly.

Interesting to hear about the 1/8th mile league. I would think he would be much better sticking with the 1/4 but who knows I'm guessing he switched setups??

that thing should make a pretty fast pass, curious to see what his MPH will be at the finish along with the 1/4 time.

Yea, Rau is running ADRL this year, like the Titan guys did last year. He is going back to an 80mm turbo, he was down to a 74mm or 72mm turbo due to rules against him last year in NHRA. Rau gets off the line pretty good and his lower torque than the V8 guys might help him with the 10.5" tires that they run in that class.
