Coolant Light~!

My stupid coolant tank light in the dash is on and won't go off!!!
I just replaced the coolant temp sensor.
Thermostat has been replaced last fall. Coolant Tank is at Full. Car runs fine, not overheating or anything.

What else could be the problem? i'm hoping it could not be the wire / plug.
Last summer, the coolant tank light would come on and off.

Any ideas guys?

Isnt there more than one coolant sensor, one used for a/c?

There's another one for the A/C? I have not heard of that before. Shed any light anyone?

As far as I know the coolant light is only triggered by a low coolant level in the overflow bottle. If the bottle is full and the light is still on there is probably something wrong with the sensor on the tank. Either replace that sensor or just pull the bulb.

Yea the coolant temp sensor is on the thermostat housing, but the coolant light sensor is at the bottom of the overflow tank on a 1g, correct?

Yup. Two coolant temp sensors on the thermostat housing (1 for ECU, 1 for dash gauge) and then another temp sensor on the radiator for the fan.

I had this same issue in my old 2G. I removed the overflow tank and cleaned it up best I could, made sure where the sensor is was nice and clean. That fixed it for me.

Sounds good, i'll try that later after work.
But if that doesn't help, they do sell the tank sensors at Autozone, Napa, Mitsu and what not right? I can't seem to find it at all on their webpages.
