1993 1.8 SOHC starting issues

My bro's girlfriend just picked up this sweet ride!

When warm, the car starts just dandy. When cold, it has a hard time starting. Seems to turn over and over and after a while, sputters, then dies. Turn it turn turn it and sputters and dies. Once it is to this point, you can start pumping the gas pedal and it will run a little longer, then sputter and die. Then turn it over and over a bit more, pump the gas and it will eventually go.

Spark plugs, wires, battery, alternator have been changed already.

Injector issue?

ECU Coolant temp sensor is where I'd start. PossibleFPR leaking internally is another area I'd look.

Ooh my brother did mention that he thought the coolant temp sensor might be bad! I'll try that :)

Yup, both good possibilities. Both were problems on my Laser.
