Tourqe specs?
Does anybody have all the tourqe specs for the 4G63T motor? Or know where i can get them besides the gay chiltons or haynes manuals?

Re: Tourqe specs?
www.vfaq.com has some specs, but they're hard to find.
Try www.plymouthlaser.com for some of them. I believe there is a "CAPS" out there for DSM's. But I can't find the link anymore. |
Re: Tourqe specs?
What's wrong with Haynes manual?

Re: Tourqe specs?
CAPS is a parts lookup program that Mitsu uses, lots of us have it. It doesn't have torque specs. Use the Haynes, it's fine.

ok i guess the haynes manual will do..

Re: Tourqe specs?
If you want to come down to eagan im sure i can print them all off for you using Mitchell On Demand. Otherwise just buy a haynes this most likely wont be the only time you will need these specs.

Re: Tourqe specs?
In my chiltons manual it doesnt state a final torque spec for the crank bearing caps. it uses a low torque value then says finish with a 1/4 turn. I am looking for the torque specs on:
crank bearing caps rod bearing caps and the recommended torqueing sequence when using a stock mitsu composite headgasket. |
Re: Tourqe specs?
All that info is in the Chilton...

Re: Tourqe specs?
What year engine and are they factory parts you are installing?

Re: Tourqe specs?
always use a chilton manual. hayne's sucks. they leave stuff like that out

Re: Tourqe specs?
alldatapro told me 34-36 ft lbs for the rod caps...
