A new website promises to help motorists beat speed traps by sending them alerts on their cell phone.

‘Trapster’ is the first website that alerts motorists to upcoming speed traps via cell phone.

‘Trapster’ turns a cell phone into a radar detector of sorts. The website uses information from other drivers who report speed traps and alerts others where they're located.

The features are free of charge.

We need to get everyone to do this!!!!

I would consider this if I wasn't in the sticks. Does anyone here use it? Experience?

I bet it's new enough to the point of barely anyone uses it. I'm sure more people use it to "hear" where traps are rather than call in and report one.
