Nitrous?

Looking for a 50 or 75 shot. I think just for fun. I've never messed with this stuff and would like advice. This is for the girlfriends G6. What are my options and which system should I run? Looking for something that's not insane expensive.

Is the G6 engine durable? I would hate to see you ruin her car!

Well if it can handle the shot just go with a NOS Sniper sysem. Its a budget wet system. I have it in my car and they are usually around 300

According to what I've read it'll handle it and then some. I will for sure know if it can before I install/buy.

Check out the VENOM VCN 1000, awsome beginner kit, not real expensive, and damn near harmless...

Would you need to upgrade the fuel pump, as a wet kit can cause a sudden drop in fuel pressure when you spray (I think)?

No the pump is enough for a wet kit. Dry kit makes the injectors work to hard so that out.

This is the kit I own, Good parts and real easy to setup and use. Has all you need. And i believe these jet sizes will be best for your application

your best bet is call nitrous oxide systems and talk to them for what size pills are safe for you to run and what plugs to run. you just have to give them the cars info. I had to do it for a buddys grand prix gtp and they told me what was safe for the car what pills to use and to use 1 colder plugs.

So...what does the g/f think about all this?

Re: Nitrous?

It's her idea, ok so I may have planted the idea but she is the one that said go for it. This will not be the only thing that's done. I've found there is acctually alot of hidden potential in this car with simple bolt on's. You can't make it insane but you can make it better. On top of a possible wet nitrous kit I'm doing reprogramed PCM with the between shift timing lag left in for the NAWS, CAI, 2.5 inch exhaust by magnaflow. I'm also going to put my old WB in and play with HPtuner alittle. If I can find the right cable. This I think is a perfect segway to the EVO in November. I only have to be really carful as it still has to run and drive everyday.

This just might be a thread you look back on a month later saying: "What the hell was I thinking"

I wish you best of luck.
