2g cam sensor plug Q
 

im puting in my 6bolt this weekend and im not sure which plugs on the harnes are for the cam sensor "my car didnt come with a motor" i know i have to do some splicing,so im just woundering which plugs go to the cam sensor? i have a green top sensor on the motor now,

eny help or pic's of it would be of great help.

also if eny one has a black to with a 2g harness i would like to buy it from you.

The crank/cam sensors are at pretty much the end of the 2g loom. I took this picture from the magnus 1g in a 2g pdf document, I suggest you check it out, it was very valuable when I did my 6 bolt swap in my 2g.

The 2g crank sensor is triangle and the 2g cam sensor is a rectangle, both have 3 wires. I would buy the converter from magnus or RRE, it's worth the $75. I rigged something for a week but I eventually bought the nice adapter plug. If you want I can give you the one I made for a few bucks, I have no use for it now.

Edit: do you have the green top with a harness, or the green top with just wires coming out? If you have just the wires version the thing I made will be perfect for your setup. With the plug version it's a bit tricker to hook up the 4 wires to the prongs on the plug, but I was able to make it work on mine.

i have the green top with the plug on the end! hell ya how much do you want for the one you made, that would be a good thing for me to buy so i can see how my motor runs,till i can get the good one! yea let me know i would be able to come pick it up from you some time this week.
