1G N/T and Turbo fuel sending units the same?
My fuel level gauge wasnt working, so I pulled it. There is no continuity in it, the resitor wires that are coiled up are slightly burnt/corroded. Basically, I need a fuel sending unit, anyone got one lying around or at least know if the N/T is the same so i can pull one from a junkyard?

I have seen someone makes an aftermarket billet aluminum one that way you won't have to worry about rust.

I'm more specifically talking about the fuel level sender for the fuel level gauge Mine is burnt up and corroded, hoping they use the same sender from N/T and AWD...

Re: 1G N/T and Turbo fuel sending units the same?
Well, the resistor board thing of coiled wires (that the finger attached to the float rubs on to display the fuel level) was burnt/corroded and wasn't working. I searched the junkyard for all the early mitsu/eagle/hyundai cars I could find. They all use different fuel senders, BUT that little resistor wire board thing is similar. I thought to myself, well, lets try it. Sure enough, I installed one from an early Galant, and my fuel gauge works!!!
