I think that it is actually closer to 2 grand per second now... from what I have heard. also another cool fact. If the drivers don't tighten their belts as tight as possable the can break their ribs from slowing down so fast when the shute pops. |
Accelerating at 8Gs off the line and holding 4Gs throughout the run. Once the chute hits I heard it's as much if not more than what they feel when they accelerate off the line but with less give obviously... Kinda like a dog running at a sprint and hitting the end of its leash.
