Sun Roof Stuck Opened?

I have a 2g gst. I decided to open up my sun roof yesterday and for some reason, it's stuck opened now. When I try to press the button to slide it back, it'll slide back like 1/2 inch or so then slide back out itself. I didn't get the chance to check the fuse or what not but any of you guys ever had a similiar problem or know how I can fix this?

Is it possible that something got jammed in the track? Look for some ice, a small rock, etc.

I used to have that problem with mine, seemed like an electrical problem with the switch at first. Then I disassembled the sunroof, cleaned out the tracks and everything, and it works much better now.

I'll have to check that out later when I get home tonight as I am still at work right now. I just hope it doesn't snow tonight.

I've always heard that in some cases you can mess your sun roof up by opening it during the winter time.

you can manually close sunroofs by turning an allen bolt. i'm not sure where it is located on 2gs.

to do it manual there is an access pannel near the switch. Open the pannel and check it out.
