You missed it brandon, you were on the wrong side of the planet. Eclipses are usually only viewable by about 1/4 the globe, either side of that and it looks a little goofy, and beyond that you see nothing.

it was quite a sight to see, especially with saturn hanging out right next to the moon. next one will be in 2010!

It was pretty cool, it wasnt the most exciting thing though haha. i would be stoked to see a solar eclipse however

Solar is when the moon blocks out the sun, which looks amazing compared to the earth blocking the moon
