It really depends on your goals, for most people DSMlink is more than enough. We have made over 700whp on DSMlink with a GM MAS, but chose to go AEM on the RX7 based on the increased capabilities. You are also correct in regards to DSMlink being much easier to use.

AEM is hard to start with, I think.

I have an AEM for sale if you decide to go that way.
Depending on your goals is the big decider.

Ok so the link is on its way ecu and everything but i just read somewhere that there is a difference in the 95-96 cam angle sensor and the 97-99. I have a 97 if i throw the 95-96 eprom ecu into my 97 do i have to swap the cam angle sensor?? why do i such at this

Most people on this forum can't tune so the DSMlink is the easiest method.

Plus for a dsm with 99% of the bolt-ons available, dsmlink will get you close enough to optimum power for you not to notice the difference, especially with the price difference/complexity!

No you would not have to swap the cam angle sensor as DSMlink allows for cam inversion to support both 1g and 97+ style cam angle sensors.

AEM rule of thumb: If your not confident enough in your tuning ability that you have to make a post about it on the internet, don't get one unless your planning to pay a professional tuner to do a complete tune.
