I guess this happened in Ohio earlier this week or last week. Damn I feel sorry for the kids! Save As & Watch

Kracka 10-23-2003 01:22 AM

Anyone get hurt? If not, it might have even been fun :)

Matt D. 10-23-2003 01:33 AM

You can't tell me no one got hurt in that...

Seeing that brings back bad memories.

Nash 10-23-2003 07:36 AM

Damn, that would of scared the shit out me had I been on that bus at a younger age.

1ViciousGSX 10-23-2003 08:02 AM

HOLY CRAP
Somebody had to get hurt

Jakey 10-23-2003 09:59 AM

I have no idea if anyone got hurt, I can't seem to find a link to a news story about it. I would sure think that somebody got hurt, if not they are all damn lucky.

Shane@DBPerformance 10-23-2003 12:38 PM

Nobody got hurt. Someone lost a shoe though when they all decided to play refridgerator magnet all at once.

Raptor 10-23-2003 12:48 PM

I would guess there were some broken bones at least in that.

I have some personal experience with this stuff too. When I was in High School in my freshman year, our old bus driver Charlie had a heart attack while we were going down a friends 2 mile long driveway, he missed the 90 degree corner and went through a fense and out in a field at about 40. It was seriously bumpy. We had a woman driver in 8th grade that got too close to the ditch in the winter and put the bus on its side in the ditch while turning out of a driveway. It was too slow to have any injuries but we all had fun walking on the windows until they noticed us. The other funny thing about that is that both driveways involved in the two things where owned by couzins.

Damn, that must have been wayyyy back in the day :stick:

I rode the school bus pretty much 100% of the time up until high school. I was lucky enough to never be involved with any sort of accident besides our bus getting stuck a couple of times. As far as I know my school district back home has a pretty clean slate for bus accidents.

Just kidding!

john 10-23-2003 09:51 PM

Jet, what is that just kidding added to the bottom of your post for?

Matt D. 10-23-2003 11:01 PM

Nothing beats the figure 8 bus races at Elko! Gotta see it to believe it... Coming off the corner, sidewalls rolling over and wheels sparking on the asphalt, two wheels, getting sideways with smoke rolling off the tires... :jammin:

A bus demo derby isn't much to get excited about, they don't get going fast enough to do much damage unless one happens to get T-boned and tips over. Seeing them racing side by side at speed and getting sideways is where the action is at!
