OMG, Scratched The Iphone!
 

So I let this girl use my phone for 1 sec(after telling her no once) and as soon as it hit her hands and mine left she dropped it! Not just dropped it but it landed screen down and slid across the tile floor about 2 feet. Didnt notice it til that night but there are 2 big scratches across the screen! Im soo pissed(still and this was like 5 days ago). Does anyone know what I can do to get rid of the scratches? I believe the screen is glass but im not too sure. Any help would be great because the alternative is to have to screen replaced for $200+

Like 3 days before it happend I was at the store and saw those. But I was like Naw, I dont need that yet. WRONG!

I know I have seen glass/crystal polishers in some malls doing repairs on watch glass and stuff like that. I am not sure what the screen of the iPhone is made of but if you find one of those kiosks maybe they would?

Ok so I get to work and This girl is leaving, I was in the middle of doing something and she comes and says bye to me and tosses something on the counter. She runs off and I finish what im doing and whats laying there, $100 cash. I feel bad because I didnt want money from her, I am pissed but really its not THAT big of a deal.

Hahah, this thread is funny! Go hit that, keep the money, and screw the little plastic covers. Just instill the fear of death on anyone that you let touch the thing from now on, that's what I do. Or hold it and let them touch/play with it.

I actually was showing my 80-year old grandmother this weekend my iPhone. She was actually very interested in all of the features it had, and thought that it looked very easy to use compared to some of the other phones with 'too many small buttons' out there. She could use the touchscreen perfectly after about 30 seconds of use. That says a lot, and she does not even have a cell phone!

Sucks to hear man. But at the same time, who here hasn't dropped a cell phone ever? It happens, so I guess you just gotta be prepared for the worst. Do you have any kind of insurance on the phone like most phone companies offer?

I have no idea if I have insurance or not. I have dropped it a few times but never did it actually scratch the screen.
