Tkr why would you drive your evo in the winter when you've spent so much time and money making it solid?

I cant believe you're driving that in the winter either!! It just seems to me like that front bumper wouldnt last the winter without getting cracked or wrecked but i might be underestimating the bumper a little...

A chunk of ice off the frame rail of a semi will crack an oem bumper too.

woopty doo. A chunk of ice off the frame rail of a semi will crack an oem bumper on that white evo 9 too, and I'm sure that'll be a HELL of alot more expensive to replace... It's just a car, who friggen cares. Isn't this everyone's dream? To have a sweet car, and drive it as much as they possibly can and enjoy it?

^If you owned a $100,000 car would you drive it in the winter? How many vipers/corvets/lambos have you ever seen driving in the winter? Granted you don't see many in the first place but if you can find me a pic online I'll be impressed.

What I'm saying is some people's cars have a lot of personal value. I wouldn't wanna drive my gsx in the winter because I have worked so hard to get it looking so clean. It's a personal choice and I can see both sides, but for me, my gsx doesn't see bad weather period.

^who gives a shit about a run of the mill, mass produced gsx.
I agree with chris, and mark, all the time and money enjoy it while you can.
The above cars you mentioned brian are a little more than 10k and are also not AWD.
But i have seen a couple of vettes and a few days ago i saw a porsche, but of course you didn't say that cause it does have AWD.
Good on you mark, i hope to be driving my dsm next winter once the underbody has some kind of coating on it.

I agree with chris, and mark, all the time and money enjoy it while you can. But if you take care of something wont it last longer?
The above cars you mentioned brian are a little more than 10k and are also not AWD. I just shot off a few expensive cars.
But i have seen a couple of vettes and a few days ago i saw a porsche, but of course you didn't say that cause it does have AWD. I didn't think of porsche, but now that you mention it I don't see many in the winter either.

aaron I'm just throwin out my opinion. Usually this starts some kinda of argument when somebody on this board does that, but I promise that's not at all my intention. There is no right or wrong answer to this discussion, it's pure preference. I choose to not drive my gsx in the winter because to me it's my "viper" and I'd like to keep it as nice and clean as possible.
