Bah, the Xtreme lawn mower battery from walmart is 12 lbs I believe and I am on my 2nd year with it in the Talon. $35.

At 3 lbs you could put two in and be set! I do like saving weight but at some point things just become impractical. We are in MN, it gets cold Cold = less power avaiable from the battiery and MORE power required. Bad combo for a DD.

Why are Evo owners so into this tiny battery thing, there is a ton of room for a "normal" sized battery.

Yea Im not sure either.. If anything Id rather relocate the stock battery to the trunk to clean things up a bit.

Civic battery where the charcoal canister used to be works well. Almost stock cold cranking amps and plenty light, low and out of the way.
