My name is Alex, I have a 92 laser awd. Been working on it for about 4 years now. Originally bought the car out of Racine, Wisconsin. Looked/ran like crap so redid the motor about 3 years ago and painted it myself about 2 years ago. Currently going to school at Minot State, but looking at finding a different degree, than business. Been looking at the engineering manufacturing degree I can get in Fargo, but unsure if I want to pursue it.
Here are some pics of the laser:nod:. http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y57...1_14_07123.jpg http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y57..._11_14_071.jpg http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y57...11_14_0712.jpg http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y57..._14_071234.jpg http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y57...earCover-1.jpg http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y57...arCover1-1.jpg HKS 272 exhaust 264 intake camshafts Ross Racing 8:5-1 aluminum pistons Eagle H beam rods with ARP hardware Polished and balanced crankshaft Block bored .030 over 16 SS valves Magnacore 10mm wires NGK BR7ES spark plugs Aeromotive FPR with SS lines Road race engineering catch can Walbro 255hp fuel pump Rewired fuel pump DSM Link Maf Translator Eprom ECU FIC 650cc injectors Inovative LC1 wideband Forced Performance 18g turbo Mitsu multilayer metal exhaust gasket Push lock style return line with AN fittings SS oil feed line Mitsu 4layer head gasket ARP head studs Mitsu timing belt kit Act 2600 with pressure plate, street disk, mitsu throw out bearing and street light flywheel SS clutch line CNC extended slave cylinder rod Greddy type s bov HKS type 1 turbo timer Symbroski shift kit Reinforced shifter bushings EGR block of plate All emissions eliminated Full AC system removed Autometer 2 and 3/8 phantom boost gauge Autometer 52mm phantom oil psi gauge with relocated sender on ss line Greddy EGT gauge Prothane motor mounts Data logger Auto meter 2 and 5/8ths carbon fiber gauge cup Dash insert to hold SAFC2 and cd player Kyb agx struts and shocks Ground control coil overs with Eibach springs 3inch intake pipe K&N filter 3inch GM maf CX Racing FMIC 1g non turbo throttle body Dynamic motorsport engineering rear camber kit Energy suspension rear shock bushings Clear timing cover 3inch downpipe with 3inch mandrel bent turbo back piping. Re: New
Looks really nice! Tinted windows and clear corners would make it look better too.
Not many clean lasers out there. |
Re: New
Nice clean car! I like the clear timing cover also.

Re: New
Wow that thing is so clean it almost puts Hughes' LaZer to shame! Check the project section for that one ;)

Re: New
Thanx everyone, thinking about pulling the motor this winter and freshing it up a little. Since the rebuild its got around 30k miles on it, but not a 100% sure haha. Dont really care to much about putting miles on it. Also starting a civic project just for fun. Looking at a 88-91 civic hatch then probably swap the spare d16z6 I have laying around.
