Fender Bender in my GFs car...

Ok So heres the situation, About a week and a half ago me and my girlfriend were driving home from the car dealership, I was driving, She was passenger. Traffic came to a stop in the fast lane and i slammed on the brakes, and being that honduhs suck the brakes locked up and i slid into the person in front of me. There was not much damage, Just a couple small dents in the bumper.
This asshole wanted to sit in the fast lane and wait for the cops. so im like "DUDE we gotta get out of traffic, we are holding up everyone and its really dangerous." but he insisted that we stay right there. (he was an arab man and they had 3 other people in a prius). Cops finally get there, and we pull off and exchange information. Make sure no one is injured. The Cops verify that everyone is ok. WE finally leave.
So i get a call a couple days ago from his insurance, the guy on the line takes my info and what happened. and he gives me a case number.
They call my girlfriend and tell her that he is claiming fucking injuries!!! They cant do that without going to the hospital at the time of the accident, can they? These fucking guys are trying to screw us.

If this claim does go through, im getting a lawyer and suing his ass. Fuck that, i was doing under 5mph. No airbags deployed, no one was claiming they were hurt. etc.
If anything i have his address and i will be happy to drive over there and give them something to claim.

Or you could just finish the job, drive over to his house, and just run him over. Then he REALLY has something to claim... if he can.

He is suing her insurance company, not you guys. I wouldn't worry about it, the insurance companies have good lawyers and he probably won't get much, if anything.

my biggest thing is that i dont want her insurance to go skyrocketing because of a freakin fake insurance shit.

Let the insurance company lawyers work it out, they deal with fake claims on a daily basis and don't appreciate it one bit.

Keep your eyes on the road, jackass! Plus, if you've ever been in a wreck (i haven't but know people who have), injuries from that seldom show up right away, it seriously takes a week and you get sore back, neck, whatever and it lasts for a couple weeks after they surface. Didn't you get the memo?

Why is your girlfriend's insurance handling this anyway? You were driving, you are the driver at fault.

Good thing there wasn't a cop there. I got a ticket last year for a similar situation. Traffic stops, brakes not up to the task, hit a civic, totaled it (with shop truck).
What the officer told me, don't overdrive the vehicle, here is your ticket.

I would suggest to leave more braking time when driving her vehicle and let the (your) insurance company sort it out.

The insurance is for the car, not the driver. That is why the insurance company needs to now what other drivers are in the house. You can also get owned if someone else drives your car and gets in an accident.

Yea otherwise the cops wouldnt ask for proof of insurance on a vehicle.

no actually i saw that the fast lane was starting to slow, then i slowed with it then it abruptly came to a stop. I had plenty of room but the brakes locked up and i slid into them.
