Hi Guys,
I know a couple of guys on this board (Jed & Jacek). I usually read the posts, but I have never registered or introduced myself to the rest of the MN DSM-ers here. My name is Vassil and I live & work in Winona, MN. I am originally from Bulgaria and moved to MN like 10yrs ago. My car is 1992 GSX (I got from Steve Hill in bone stock form last November). Here is the list of current mods: Engine: Ross Pistons 8.5:1 & Ross Molly Rings Eagle Rods ARP Main Studs ARP Head Studs No Balance Shafts Mitsubishi 4-Layer HeadGasket Ported & polished Head PEP Stainless 1mm oversize Valves Crower Springs and Ti Retainers Fidanza Gamgears HKS 264/272 Cams Fully balanced & blueprinted Line Honed Bottom End Setrab Oil Cooler w/ -10AN Lines New Lifters Ported Intake Manifold (Gasket Match) Chrome Valve Cover Prothane Motor Mounts Fluidyne Radiator 12” SPAL Fan (Curved Blade) Intake / Turbo /Fuel Stock 14B Ramchargers MAF Translator K&N 9” Cone GM 3” MAF Custom 2.5" intake Pipe Hallman Evolution MBC 2.5” UICP (Blow Thru) HKS SSQV Blow-Off Valve (Vented) Denso 660cc injectors Supra TT Fuel Pump Aeromotive A1000 AFPR with -6AN Lines -4AN SS Turbo Oil Supply Line Suspension & Brakes KYB AGX Eibach Pro Kit RRE Polyurethane Bushings Big Brakes with SS Lines Exhaust Ported EVO III Manifold from FP Thermal 3" Catback Electronics TMO Stage III ECU Apex Super AFC II Omori P/H/W 60mm Boost Omori P/H/W 60mm EGT Omori P/H/W 60mm Oil Press DriveLine: ACT 2600 Clutch Fidanza Flywheel SS Clutch Line Removed the AC & Cruise Control (next is the ABS) There might be something else done to the car, but I cannot remember anymore. Probably more 90% of the stock parts have been replaced (belts, alternator, etc.) As soon as everything is broken in I will put in a 3 "downpipe and pay a visit to Elite and see what kind of power they will be able to squeeze out of it. The plan for the winter is to get an IRC Racecore and finish the exhaust, and then get a bigger turbo next year and see what the car can do on the track. i see you finally decide to join :) welcome man, hey you should stop by thursday and show me your new toy.

Welcome to the site! Looks like you have quite a bit done to the car, it will be fun to see what you get at Elite for numbers. Keep us posted.

Welcome, awesome ride!
Do you have an information link about the PEP valves by chance? |

I am not sure what their homepage is, but I got them though the guys that built
my head. Their Name is EAP (they are out of Chicago). I got them for a very reasonable price (lower than SI and Ferrea), they are stainless, swirl-polished, and chrome-stemmed. I really liked them. The one I got from crower originally were just junk. Here are some pics of the valves alone and installed in the head. If you want EAP's phone let me know... |

Welcome!
Just curious where you got your engine machining done... If it's not local to Minnesota, nevermind. :) |
