They are the same, you're about to pay too much for that kit though ;)

Hmm never seen that kit before. I would personally be a little weary of non-OEM components, but then again your just blocking it off lol.

Re: balance shaft eliminator kit??
I used the parts dinosaur kit for my 6-bolt. No problems. In fact, it's nice that you are not using bearings with oil holes. They are solid so orientation is not an issue. Plus it's $15.

Re: balance shaft eliminator kit??
that is the same kit that I have put into every motor that I have done. It is the same as the safty brand one you can buy at oreillys auto parts. I get them there because my bro work's there. They work for a 6 or 7 bolt

Re: balance shaft eliminator kit??
Are the parts dinosaur ones missing the oiling groove?

The vendors need to stop spamming their goods in the Tech Forums. :angryfire:
Take it to PM's. |

Re: balance shaft eliminator kit??
Works great in every car that I've seen. As far as OEM parts its just personal preference.

Re: balance shaft eliminator kit??
The ultra cheap way to do the elim is leave the front shaft in the motor, then cut the rear shaft (as close to the pump housing as possible) then weld the hole or tap it for a M8x1.25 thread and use a spare bolt with some rtv on the threads.
