Jenny's Birthday is March 1st and I've been discussing over on "xrated" possible things to do and what times would work best.

And well we've come up with having a gathering at Pro Kart Indoor Feb. 29th for jenny's birthday.

I'm going to look into possibly renting the place for the day(depends how much it is) and then ordering some pizza's or something.

Anycase Just wondering if people are interested in joining us.

I would probably go, I used to race go karts down in Lacrosse with a buddy in the Animal Class for a year, its pretty cool. Can't beat some good ole go kart racing.

I wanna say it's like $500 for an hour or something crazy like so I can't imagine how much it'd be for a whole day.

Great idea though!! :D

I'm in if I'm not working. Prokart is sweet. I used to race a lot. It's tons of money to rent it out.

SlimStyleDSM 02-20-2004 05:37 PM

Me and my father rented it out once only for an hour or two as a promotion for the business we own. It was a fantastic time, but quite expensive. I don't think it was 500 though...closer to like 300 I think.

Depending on the time of day and day of week, it can be from like $500 to $900. Maybe more on like a Friday or Saturday night?

My old job did it for us on a Friday afternoon. 950 bones for 1 hour (they rented it for 2) and that didn't even include pizza!

If you get the people and get a lower price it adds up saving $$$. Definatly a fun time and good idea!

SlowWhite 02-23-2004 07:55 AM

Ya I called yesterday and asked. The lady working really couldn't give me a straight answer.

But damn I was thinking more like $500-600 for like a half a day or even a full day.

$500-600 an hour is way out of my budget.

Guess it'll just have to be individual sessions.

I'm interested Brian. Is everyone going to the Halo thing or is that just your and Jenny and your close friends and everyone else is just meeting for Prokart?

BUCKY 02-23-2004 03:44 PM

I used to work at the one off of 81 in maple grove i might be able to help get a deal. If we cant get a deal overall I know a lot of the guys that work there and they will usually run extra lond races or more races than usual so yuo get more for your money. Let me know if you want me to go checkout what kind of deal I can get.

SlowWhite 02-24-2004 07:30 AM

The halo thing is kind of open. but we have limited TV's/Xbox's. So numbers are based on that.

Most of the time when we play we have between 6-10 people playing. I usually call it quites around 3am. But some of the die hards don't ever go to sleep.

In the morning the last 2 times Jenny and I have done this we've gone to IHOP in the morning.

If you can get us a deal at Burnsville ProKart that would be great. Anything that equals more bang for the buck is always better.
