I bought another car, I dont know why, but I did. It is a 1990 GSX. It is red. My friend told me to never buy a red car, I thought he was joking. Well I bought it and what I knew was that the power steering leaked, and the belt squeaked. Car was completely stock when I bought it Saturday.

Saturday
-I bought the car, :woowoo: drove to see the grandparents in Mankato (they are 95 and 96 thats fucking old) Flew back passin people like only a turbo car can do. That night I go climbing snow covered hills and stuck in a huge thing of snow in an ex-Walmart parking lot. Car overheats, go to the SUPER Walmart nearby let car cool off, etc.

Sunday
-Flushed radiator, Changed oil, filled power steering, windshield washer fluid etc etc etc. Went out that night and tore up the streets, stopped at a buddies house and let the car idle. I come back out and car has overheated once again, I wait twist the radiator cap off a little, then prod it the rest of the way with a steel rod until it blows 3 feet into the air and hits the hood. Fill with water and half gallon coolant to get me home. Car wouldnt really start took alot of tries. Driving home with the cautions on at like 1am trying to not really stop. Coming down a hill, cop passes me whips around and starts following. I could have lost him, if car was running more regular and probably as is, there are alot of little roads etc. BUT I am nice, pull over explain the situation, cop is nice. TICKET 42 mph in a 30. I was COASTING DOWN A HILL, but he was nice about it. 9,000000000000000 times nicer than a North Carolina cop anyways, I go home.

Monday
-Driving home from work and hear the most god awful belt squealing. I pull into the driveway. Shut it off, open hood, alternator belt is shredded. Go to Autozone, price of power steering belt 90 turbo: $17 not in stock, cant order blah blah blah. Price of belt for 95 turbo:$8 in stock, stupid Autozone. Replace belt, open up bov for sound, close it bc boost goes down to 7psi. Terrorize the streets etc. :3gears:

Tuesday
- Get bored at night, we go film videos of sideways awd drifting on ice, I race srt4 with stock gsx, win 1( the other were rolling starts on the road), love awd, no one can touch a launch. :dsmrule: More terrorizing around go home happy.

Wednesday
-Go terrorize streets for a while, watch footage of the last few nights. Go to my house to get to gas containers, planning car like judgement day(the crotch rocket video) scene, not with my car but with crazy integra kid, at my house alot of cars show up in the parking lot across the street, they take off doing burnouts etc. Three cars on the way to the gas station, cop sees us and turns around to follow, integra takes side street, mr2 goes past gas station, I stop like planned. Cop pulls in gas station and turns on cherries behind me. Police had received a complaint. Four more cops arrive. I am tonights entertainment. Fucking Great. Stupid hondas dong burnouts causes unwanted attention. Cop says my buddies can show back up or they will find them and bring them back, I call, we all get taken to station. Locked in a "conference room" sound recorded and monitored, the cop that pulls me over had assisted on speeding ticket. The kid in the integra has a record that could rival rockfalls mile track. Every cop that sees him is like, " Oh, I know you." So great, blame game time, .....supra left before it happened.... ....its all the fault of the honda kid burning out........please dont ticket me.... I DONT WANT TO WORRY ABOUT DROPPNG THE SOAP..... PLEASE NOT JAIL....saturn? are you kidding me? he wasnt involved......i didnt see the mr2 whipping shitties i dont know......They would pull over every car that had driven by and was 2 door, (it was around 1 or so) and ask me if they were involved. Ticket time, I cooperated, and car was stock, no ticket just two hours of my time. Drive away playing NWA-Fuck Tha Police- Go to gas station, sit and bitch for a while. Go to 24hr grocery store, talk to friend who does night stock. Some guys just stole a bunch of cases of beer, the cops are on their way. As we walk out two cops just stare at us but the cashiers tell the cops it wasnt us. We leave still playing NWA-Fuck tha police, as the cops are standing walking outside. Go home and stay home.

Thursday
-Drive the speed limit, don't do anything dumb, just be NORMAL, like anyone but me. About to drive out of town, get pulled over again. Listen to some bullshit about if I slow it down, I wont get pulled over. I was doing 35 in a 30 approaching a 55 he stopped me like 100 yds in front of the sign. Now its just harrassment. Whatever, new idea, spray paint car a different color. Move to Mexico. Something. :fworld:

Anyways, I guess it all catches up with you sometime, and this time it caught me.

been there, been harrassed, it sucks. and it gets expensive.

FattyBoomBatty 02-20-2004 10:30 AM

i got pulled over by an undercover detective once. heh. did a huge ass burnout right next to this black taurus. no lights, badging or ANYTHING. he has lights on the inside though and pulls us over. he's like, "how much you wanna bet i call a traffic cop over here to give you guys a ticket?" and we knew we were off the chain.

you have a good story. not good events, but a good story nevertheless.

Kracka 02-20-2004 10:37 AM

Good story, but it is really no wonder you get pulled over a lot. All of the cops on that town now know you and your car and will being paying a lot more attention to you. I had that up here in Duluth this fall....but I fooled them all by bringing out the beater ;)

Emcee gsxtc 02-20-2004 01:55 PM

but it is the beater, the only beater I have left and kept running. I think spray paint is the only option.

Hmm id say that beating on the cars and doing dumb stuff like burnouts in groups in residential neighborhoods isnt a good idea and thats why your in your situtaion....

Maybe if you just drive and dont terrorize you wont get pulled over. ;)

Yeah, no wonder you are being harrassed.... I drive a red car and have never been pulled over, so don't go blaming the red cars ;) j/k

jd1828 02-20-2004 10:53 PM

i drove my red talon for about 6 months and only got pulled over once. i was driving down university and go pulled over for no front plate. the only thing is that i had my front plate in the window but i guess that doesnt count  thats the only time i ever argued with a cop.
