Head Question
 

So i would like to put the head off of my GST on the GSX.
I know that when you put a 2g Head on a 6 bolt you need to grind out the head stud holes or something along those lines, but what about putting a 2g head that was on a 6 bolt back onto a 7 bolt. Anyone know if this will be a problem?

There is going to be a little extra slop in the holes, so it won't locate as easy. Leave a few nuts off the outside studs and make sure the stud is in the center of the hole, then tighten down the inside ones. Then do the outside. It is pretty critical, so be careful.

There should be alighnment dowels in the corners of the block that will keep the head on straight.

Just do the factor torque pattern Tpunxs and you will be fine, the pins will hold the head where it needs to be.
