3" catless?
 

Hello Everyone.

Was thinking about that thing for my almost stock (currently, except intake) 95 talon tsi fwd.

Any suggestions? Would I have any problems with cops? Or any at all?
Estimated hp gain is around 15-35 on crank. Price - 300$.

well I havent had a cat for a pretty long time and havent run into in problems. I'm sure that there is a lot of other cars on here that also have questionable exhaust also. when I did my exhaust I did a Dp pipe also 3in all the way back. I think I have a RRE Dp and apexi N1 exhaust that looks like a spud gun. lol.

I have the apex'i gt spec dp and exhaust. Can get somewhat loud when steppin on it. I haven't had any problems but if a cop is a prick, he may pull you over for a "noise" violation.
If your going to start getting new parts, I say do it. You can feel the difference between the new and stock exhaust.

Run E85 and no cat, treehuggers will love you.
