this video was taken at the street drags in lacrosse wisconsin the day befor i sold my sunbird and the day after i got my eclipse well actualy i had already sold the sunbird but i wouldnt let them take it till i dragged the bird one more time.

needless to say it was a good time but next year when i take my eclipse out there im waxin all their azzes

Sunbirds are Uber gay. And the quote about the eclipse is total BS, the guy driving the eclipse didnt go right away. We also have to work on your definition of a hot.... umm... car.

yeah i know the eclipse actualy is a talon and yeah he didnt leave the line when i did obviously he ran me down but considering the race was only 1/8th of a mile i crossed the line right befor he did.

also yeah i know the car isnt hot i was being sarcastic

they hold street drags at the lacrosse county fairgrounds raceway durring the summer the 2nd friday of each month cost was 5.00 to get into the pits and 5.00 per event they had different classes


open-any vehicle with open exaust
trucks
cycles
detroit iron maros,stangs etc
hot rods
domestic
tuners
4 wheel drive cars or trucks with 4x4 engaged
buy back catagory

they do 1 hour of grudge and practice runs prior to the start so you can get 12-20 runs in depending on how many people show up so those are just practice as most of the runs were in my video the dark ones were the real race which i took 3rd in getting beat by a 95 caprice with the 350 in the domestics catagory and the mustang when i did the buy back

the talon was a fwd...and on street tires.. i know i spin through 1st, 2nd and 3rd...

your car didn't have enough to spin the tires too horribly hence why you had traction from the start and thats why you were beating many of the cars.
power to weight vs grip. FWD turbo vehicle suxorz.. but from a roll.. oh a different storry man!

Now that is what you call a drivers race. Don't hate because he was a better driver. Most of those car would a won but their driver sucks.

i in no way thought i owned a race car i was just screwing around that day and i knew that since the race would never even make it out of 2nd gear i knew i had a chance against allot of the cars out there
did i think id beat allot of the cars i did? no
as a matter of fact as the guy said it was a drivers race if you watch that talon you will see he didnt leave the line for about 2 3 secons after i did in a short race like that its all it takes

anyway it was all for fun anyway cheap fun entertainment with the kid without worries of reckless driving tickets and heck for 5 bucks an event it beats the hell out of a 400.00 ticket

(95 Eclipse GST - Broke more times then the guys on Pinks! 13.8 @ 114.5 in 100+ degree weather. Intake temps)

at least it was broke less than those guys on pinks!!!:D
