Anybody else going? Looks like it's a go, so as long as I can get some fuel, I'll be heading out pretty soon.

Well, that was a bust. I ran out of gas in my RV down by Burnsville VW, then headed back up 169 to my shop and the RV died again. Probably vapor lock. Luckily I had my GSX in the trailer, so I just pulled that out and left the RV on the side of the road, I'll go get it after traffic dies down. Looks like Porky's is on tonight instead. Piss.

Nope. Got even worse, went back to get the RV and trailer, it got towed. Can't get it til tomorrow. Luck of the Irish I guess.

Some more notice next time. My cars all track ready so Im up for some racing. Might hit up the test and tune at the evil Rock Falls this month.

And it got even worse for Mr. Hill tonight.. Today was one bad day for him. DSM ended up on the side of the road after Midway/Porky's. Although thankfully I think we believe its something drive train related, probably transfer case. We'll see what he says after he gets it up in the air.

Damn, that sucks to hear. Looks like he maybe had a case of the Kyle.

Oh, and I'm sure Steve has PLENTY of other sweet vehicles to drive! Every time I see him he is rolling in a 40k + car, haha.

Edit: Except for last night, when he did the burnout in a beast!

Yeah, thanks to Momin for helping me out til 3:30am last night on the side of the road. That was much appreciated.

Yesterday was an expensive day. I just got back from picking up my RV which was towed and impounded after it died on the side of the road for the second time yesterday. $477 and a sneer from the kid at the tow company, I get that back and make it back to the shop. Mo, his buddy Asad and I went down to Porky's then off to the local races last night. My car was running way lean for some reason but luckily that's not what put me on the side of the road. I haven't gotten it in the air yet, but it's most likely the xfer case. After having it towed to my shop last night, I was able to start it up and drive it in. That's good news considering I initially thought I melted a piston from doing a couple highway pulls past Asad's NSX.

So after all that, the GSX should be fine, my wallet's a whole lot lighter, and I got four hours of sleep last night. Yesterday was not my day.
